Only intended for use with Aquaripure customers as a replacement Nutrient Injection Port or “EZ Feed” tube.
If your filter is less than 1 year old then just send your mailing address and part needed on the contact page. Remember to specify the part needed and the size.
If possible, put the syringe in the tip of the nutrient port to keep it from leaking and run the filter at least a couple of hours a day until you get the replacement.
The filter can be shut off completely for up to 4 days but after that the bacteria will start to die and toxins can build up in the filter. If this happens the effluent will smell strongly of rotten eggs and you should let several gallons of the foul water drip into a bucket and then discard that effluent before you run the filter in the tank. After that it will get back to normal within a couple of weeks. If you run it for at least a couple of hours a day then this can be avoided.
If an Aquaripure has been shut off for more than 2 weeks, contact us for details on how to clean and restart the filter.
